We worked with Brad to help us envision future phases of our home and, most immediately, to redesign the lower half of our our house and our basement. Brad walked around our home and property and sat with us to understand our objectives and came up with ideas that we liked in advance of us signing a contract to work together. It was clear that Brad was informed about zoning laws and how to get permits for relevant construction work.
Once we contracted with Brad, his team was in our house within a few days and mapping out every inch of our home to develop current drawings. Soon after, Brad had developed designs for two phases of work envisioned. We liked the concepts and made a few recommendations which resulted in a few tweaks to the plans. Once we had agreed on the final plans, Brad developed detailed construction drawings and submitted them to our town for approvals. It was relatively painless for us to go through this process.
At one point after the construction had begun, our contractor came up with some ideas that we liked and we contacted Brad for his view of the engineering considerations. Brad was responsive, giving our contractor guidance on how to implement the changes correctly.
Brad is a professional. He is creative, responsive and worked with us to realize our objectives, sometimes in ways we had not previously considered, but ultimately realizing a vision for our home that we really liked. We consider the outcome of our project to have been successful and therefore recommend Brad to others looking for architectural services.
